Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA)

uploady.io enforces a strict policy against copyright infringement. In most cases, uploady.io shall act within 24 hours of receiving proper notification. uploady.io is an Online Service Provider under Title II of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. Section 512 ("DMCA").

Writing a Proper DMCA Notice

To write a Proper DMCA Notice, include all of the following:

  1. Identify yourself as the copyright owner or authorized representative, and provide a physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identify the copyrighted work(s) you believe are being infringed.
  3. Identify the infringing material by providing the full URL(s) on uploady.io.
  4. State your contact information: name, street address, phone number, and business email. If acting on behalf of the owner, describe your affiliation.
  5. State: "I have a good faith belief that use of the aforementioned material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agents, or the law."
  6. State that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
  7. Send your notice to support@uploady.io with the subject DMCA NOTICE.

Notice and Takedown Procedure

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notification, uploady.io will remove or disable access to infringing materials as soon as possible — typically within 24 hours. No confirmation is required from you before we act.

Counter Notification

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may send a Counter Notice to support@uploady.io with the subject COUNTER NOTICE, including:

  1. Description and URL of the removed material (prior to removal).
  2. Your name, address, and phone number — and a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed in error.
  3. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for your judicial district.
  4. Your physical or electronic signature.

You acknowledge that failure to comply with all requirements may render your DMCA notice invalid.
